Information security
Information security serves to secure networked and individual computer systems in order to protect them against loss of availability, confidentiality, integrity and liability. Information security has to deal with a variety of issues within a company and has one of the largest cross-sectional functions in companies. Information security includes the dimensions of technology, organization and law, and takes place in their layers of physical security (RZ), networks, systems, applications, content, personnel and higher-level matters (as security for information security management itself).
